This post is in response to the comments posted by Mr.Surendra Prasad Sao in Mr.Rajgopal Nair's & also in this blog.
First of all let me make it clear that I do not see either night or morning odds, or any other racing site/blogger/News paper selections before I post my selections.The simple reason is that I might get influenced & may err.
Mr Sao says the criteria for assessing a blog should be the returns on investment & not how many winners one has given.Hence this article.

Assuming that one plays only the first choice given by me & betting unit being Rs 1000/- & the tax is 10 %, the returns will be as under.The odds given are the actual odds that were given by book makers when I was in the ring.

Hope this will make things more transperant & visitors of the blog can make a better judgement. Ofcourse this is one of the purple patch I'm going through, definitely there will be losing days also, but over all even if one can break even or make little profit, I'll be more than happy, because I enjoy the sport.

Mysore Week end Races - Some points to analyse

Have any one observed out of 14 races, 12 horses with (AL) shoes have won the races, with the exception of Raiders Sun & Magical Spirit. So is the trend catching up with other centres like Bangalore & Bombay ?

No Jky scored more than once in the two day card.

Dinesh Pujar scored thrice, Kamat, Bobby, Vishal Yadav, Rakesh,Monappa & Tejaswi all scored twice.

Champion Trainer at Mysore, Z Darashah drew a blank.

Most of the well backed mounts of D Gnaneshwar bit the dust.

Pratap Kamat who was the darling of punters sometime back, when his well backed horses used to win at will, has fooled every one by declaring Jkys like Noorulla & R Ravi while scoring on Roto Rooa & Maratha Conqueror.His well backed Jericho & Snap Dragon fell by way side.Has he changed his strategy ?

Ambiens & War Head form Vishal Yadav were the rage in the betting ring & were backed down to Evens & readily obliged.

Magical Spirit & Enchanting Girl from trainer Rakesh received very good support & backed down from 5 to 3's and won running away.

P C Tejaswi by declaring Shanth Kumar on Raiders Sun, was avaialable at 5 & backed down, passed of a nice betting coup.

Horses from Bangalore circuit,which were racing fit were winners of their respective races--Hurrican Spirit,Raiders Sun, War Head, Hawaiian Sunrise.

Shortest priced horse of the week to bite the dust - Ashkan, touted by every one as moral certainity.

Horse of the Week --- Cilantro may pick up one or two more races in present condition.

Wind Storm 63, for the fisrt time is being declared with a decent jky.Finished a reasonable 4th in its previous run, has got a decent chance to land the spoils.

King Of The Ring 63, is the form horse,is knocking on the doors & will wage a bitter battle to win here.

Statjford 60 will be right there with the front runners, can place.

Nonios 60 May be the rage, but I find it difficult.

Bold Act 60 rider choice does not impress me.

Western Challenge 88. Unreliable & ungenuine.Fancied in each & every run & has been a huge disappointment.After a pathetic show in its previous run, is off the morning workouts.Keep away.

French Kiss 69. Though champion Jky is in the saddle, don't get fooled, miles to go to see a winning post in this set.

Hi Dear all,
I had connectivity problems initially when I did not post for Bangalore for couple of days & there after,there was a break in Bangalore racing.I dont do much of Hyderabad racing,as I my self not confident of this centre.More over busy with my work most of the time & hence no postings.
How ever I plan to come back from Friday 23rd Jan.But again I may not be able to post on Monday 26th Jan as I am planning to go out of station.
