Dear All,
I would like to initiate a debate.
Does some one has any idea as to what is happening at Pune races. Upsets(more proper word Bombs) have become order of the day.
Favourites/fancied horses are falling like nine pins.
Form has no meaning & if some fancied horses win you can't back at the cramped odds they are being offered.
How long this one side flow of money to bookies will continue.Does this mean we should keep away from races till things settle down.
What happened to the fair racing that was promised by the chairman of RWITC prior to last years elections.
Your views please.

END OF THE SEASON BOMBS ARE USUALLY EXPECTED BUT THIS YEAR PUNE HAS BEEN A DISASTER, AND THE END IS EVEN MORE EXPLOSIVE, ITS DIFFICULT TO FIND PEOPLE WHO HAVEN'T BEEN BLASTED THROUGH BY HUGE HOLE IN POCKETS 'FAIR RACING' NAA...TO MUCH TO EXPECT IN OUR PART OF THE WORLD, WE DO NOT HAVE A WILL TO HAVE REGULATIONS IN PLACE THAT WILL ENCOURAGE FAIR PRACTICES AND AS IS EVIDENT TO EVERYONE VESTED INTERESTS TAKE LESS CARE OF PUNTERS.
BUT AGAIN...THAT'S RACING...THESE ARE THE COMPLAINTS FROM LAST 100 YEARS, WE NEED SOMEONE TO COME UP WITH OUT OF THE BOX SUGGESTIONS THAT CAN BE FORCED WITH DUE EARNEST SO THAT WE CAN MAKE THINGS BETTER.
Dear Sir,
If you can list specific Instances , i would be glad to take it forward.
Shyam
Hi Shyam,
Todays example is Raging Star. Two runs out of sight & wins like a champion.Congrats in its earlier run was on tight reins till the bend & finishes like a pricked balloon & next time at 10/1 wins by distance.Nora was beaten by both Saltoro & Dancing Glory, today wins like a champion.Blue Mountain is beaten by Saltoro out of sight.Today forget about Blue Mountain, it struggles to keep pace with the field right from the word go.The list is endless my dear
Regards
Shyam Bhai...form has had little meaning so far. Much of this is beyond the control of RWITC, as there are racing syndicates, big time owners having horses with 3 or more owners, having four to five jockeys regularly mounting for them.
I am speaking out as Madhu ji has requested a honorable debate, let's begin by giving the devil it's due, lets assume that Stewards are doing their utmost for the betterment of the racing, but down the line rot has set in and we cannot blame individuals.
The point I am trying to drive home is is derived from the language of frequent tipping of Shyam G, he points out that in a race so many horses are linked....
That's what is wrong...pick up the book and then you see vested interests governing fate of a few fancied horses.
Now the short cut of our ire will be targeted at stewards...
But frankly, my opinion is that unless rules of the game change, situation will not change a lot.
There has to be a limit on a trainer one can keep horses with...a limit on jockeys that are retained, and the syndicates family and affiliates can be part of.
It's a free for all at the moment, what is required a proper documentation report, and suggestions for improvement, if that happens, the rules of the game will be modified and the mightiest will bend...remember RWITC is at the weakest at the moment, if genuine racing enthusiasts want to seek betterment of racing, time is now.
