Dear All,

Good morning & good day to all of you.A new season & a wave of expectation will be in the air for all of us hardcore punters.We enter the race course with lots of fresh hope, forgetting the past even before the wounds(self inflicted) have healed,whenever a new season starts,forgetting the past.Since most of us can not come out of this & addicted to racing, my sincere advise is do not follow the favourites blindly, do your home work thouroughly, before wagering your hard earned money.Even if you lose,at the end of a day it should not cause a big hole to your pocket & your family should not suffer.This way you can enjoy the racing & also you can be in the positive frame of mind to wager sensibly.
Excuse me for my sermons, but this advise is from a person who has 25 years of non stop racing.
Three cheers for a new season & let's enjoy the racing.

My choices & ratings for the first day are as under

1st
Misty Moonlight, is out of Pleasures,who is a winner of 8 races from 1400 to 1800.The dam's foal Star Team won a 1100 mts race as a 3yr old, before going on to win another 2 races @ 1600 and over.The blood line indicates,distance will be the forte of Misty Moonlight, but has got enough class due to its parentage, & is the obvious choice to win this race.

Idar Princess's dam No Excuses is a speedy customer who won 3 races @ 1200.Brave Hunter is no mean sire when throwing out sprinters. It's a live & only threat to Misty Moonlight.

Aspiring Seven is the obvious choice based on it's Mysore form. Action Hero also can not not be neglected, as this trainer has the habit of keeping his wards in shelf for long & suddenly surprises.Watch the ring which way money flows,but the race can not go beyond these two.Amazing Flora is sure to place.

Edmondo looks outstanding.The only problem is, it's from M.Eshwer's stable, whose favourites at short prices always bite dust.To top it KPG on odds on favourite makes it doubly risky. My advise is to go for a place, either on L.T.River run or Excellent Ability.

An Equal Music was unlucky last time out, as it was shaping like a winner,when it over took one & all, but suddenly it's lead ( weights ) bag came off flying from the saddle & fell to the ground.Subsequently it was disqualified.Should redeem itself today & one can have a decent bet. Alchesaye if alert at the gates, should place. Others will have to fight for 3rd spot.
